Politics…another big win for the Democrats!

Yesterday Florida counted their votes … and guess who won?! Sen. John McCain! I don’t see him much of a threat in the race. Ha ha. I was going to be really worried if Romney, Giuliani, or Ron Paul (who is that again?!) would win. Just driving around yesterday was a disappointment. The radio stations, the tv stations, even the little signs on the streets were all screaming Romney or Ron Paul. But I did hear a John McCain slot and it was lashing out at Romney – it was quite funny. And also thinking how Florida is such a Republican state – it just really shows you that the people want CHANGE and that we’re sick of the Bush Administration digging us to the ground. Democrats are truly on the right path right now. I’m really pulling for Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton. They are America’s hope for a brighter future.

On a sad note – John Edwards is to quit today. The Former Senator will quit the Democratic race for president today, sources from CNN say. He’s asked both his rivals – Hillary and Barack to both make POVERTY a top issue. This is a serious issue by the way! John Edwards had a lot of excellent ideas and major issues that need to be tackled and it really would be nice to see the other candidates make those same promises too. So that leaves just Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama on the road to ‘presidito’. I just want to January 2009 to be here already. I’ve never been this excited about a presidential race since Kerry | Bush (ha ha, I know that wasn’t too long ago) but look at the *ish that’s popped off since then? I was so angry, mad, pissed-off – you name it when Bush won – again. Anyway, brighter future, time for change, ay?!

Time: Why Edwards never caught on

Time: Giuliani completes his collapse

Time: Is McCain fighting a losing battle
(according to me, yes! But I liked him the most out of all the other Republicans – he just seemed more real to me, less the bullsh*t)

Time: Why the Kennedy’s went for Obama
(because he’s the brains and brawns of a brighter, more hopeful, stronger America. I saw him twice – I love Barack)

Oh and a final Political comment for today – is it ODD how President Bush is trying to look like the good-guy? Pushing for food aid spending and pushing for Congress to give us $600 – $1500 tax rebates? You know what I have to say to that? ….it’s a little too late!! And that isn’t even enough money to turn our economy around AND folks wouldn’t see that money until June because the IRS doesn’t have time to cut those checks when it’s in the middle of TAX SEASON!! Duh.. but still, push for it! I’d like to see the moola.
